Centennial Year Banquet
The Texas Law Review planned an evening of camaraderie and excitement to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of TLR. The evening started with a Cocktail Reception at which alumni from every class since 1961, students, and guests mingled in a crowd of more than 900 people. A Seated Dinner followed at which guests either sat with firms that purchased tables or joined friends at a table with other members of their TLR volume.
The Dinner Program featured videos about Legal Giants–TLR Heroes: Dean Leon Green, Dean Page Keeton,
Steve Susman, Judge Diane Wood, and Prof. Charles Alan Wright; as well as Reminiscences of a Recovering Texas Law Dean, a speech by Mark Yudof. There also were greetings by Texas Law Dean Ward Farnsworth and TLRA President Gwendolyn Dawson, and special recognition of each Board of TLR Volumes 50, 75, 98, 99, and 100.
